Destin has a new seafood market that you may not know about! Sea Market in Destin, opened off of Hwy. 98 on December 11, 2021. It’s locally owned and operated by John and Araya, who are there daily. If they aren’t there, then John’s mom will be there holding down the fort.
Sea Market is a very interesting and exciting addition to the Destin food scene. There is a lot to unpack with this new business. Let us give you a quick run-down!
John, the owner, is a true fishmonger. Sea Market buys and cuts from the whole fresh fish daily. Selections may vary on what is available as it is all bought from local fishermen, daily.
Sea Market gets almost all of their fish from Florida, aside from Tuna which comes from the waters in Louisiana.
They also offer other fresh seafood – crab, shrimp (including Royal Reds when available!), mussels, clams, oysters, lobster, and more.
If you’re in the mood for a steamer, they can hook you up! Crawfish boils during season on Fridays – C’est bon!
Sea Market also offers hand-cut aged beef and pork.
One thing you won’t find anywhere else in Destin, exotic meats. Sea Market can source any exotic meat your taste buds are hankering for – Bison, Elk, Kangaroo, Camel, Geoduck… you name it, they will find it for you!
If you have an arrival date and know what you want, you can call ahead to Sea Market and place your order. They will then have it ready for your arrival.

Are you a fan of Thai food? You’re in luck, Araya is Thai and she will send you home with pre-prepped Thai dishes. All of this in the comfort of your own condo. No fighting crowds just a 5-Star dinner on your own balcony. What’s could be better?
Sea Market serves lunches and a nice selection of “grab and go” items. If you’re short on time, just stop in and pick something up.
Customers rave over John’s homemade crab cakes. 98% pure crab! Just sear them on both sides add a green salad – you’ve got a mean meal right there!
